1. Service Overview

ComplyWall is a browser-executed age estimation solution designed to provide real-time age verification at the point of access, without the collection, transmission, or storage of personal data.

The Service utilizes client-side machine learning models to process live video input from the end user’s device webcam and determine estimated age thresholds.

All processing occurs locally in the browser. No data (visual, biometric, session-based, or otherwise) is transmitted to external servers or stored by ComplyWall.

2. Authorized Use

ComplyWall is intended for lawful, compliance-driven access control to age-restricted content or services.

Use of the Service is restricted to:

• Website or application operators acting in accordance with applicable laws and content regulations

• Non-surveillance purposes

• Deployments that do not attempt to extract, store, or log end user data

• Integrations that maintain ComplyWall’s zero-data architecture

Any deviation from this purpose constitutes unauthorized use.

3. Privacy Architecture

ComplyWall is designed with a zero-knowledge, privacy-preserving architecture. Specifically:

• No images, video, or biometric signatures are retained, recorded, or transmitted

• No cookies, persistent identifiers, or tracking mechanisms are deployed

• All age estimation is performed client-side in the user’s device memory and is discarded immediately post-verification

Because ComplyWall does not process or retain personal data, data subject rights under laws such as GDPR, CPRA, or COPPA are inherently respected through architectural enforcement (“privacy by design”).

4. Client Responsibilities

Operators integrating ComplyWall are responsible for:

• Ensuring age verification via ComplyWall aligns with applicable legal or regulatory requirements (e.g., COPPA, DSA, GDPR-K)

• Providing appropriate user-facing disclosures that webcam access is required for verification

• Configuring age thresholds that meet jurisdictional or platform policy obligations

• Verifying compatibility with the Operator’s frontend stack and deployment environment

ComplyWall assumes no liability for misconfigurations or incorrect implementation by third parties.

5. Integration and Deployment

The Service is provided as a lightweight JavaScript library or SDK intended for execution in modern web environments.

No backend integration or API communication is required.

The Client must not modify, tamper with, reverse engineer, or repackage the Service without prior written consent.

Support for integration may be provided via scheduled consultation only.

6. Acceptable Use Restrictions

You, as a Client, visitor, or user of the Service, agree not to:

• Use the Service to identify, re-identify, or track individual users

• Store, capture, or log any webcam input, video frames, or extracted visual data

• Integrate ComplyWall into products or systems intended for surveillance, profiling, or behavioral analysis

• Remove ComplyWall branding or misrepresent the Service as your own proprietary technology

• Interfere with, test, tamper with, or attempt to probe, scan, or exploit vulnerabilities in the Service or its deployment environment

We reserve the right to revoke access in the event of misuse, breach, or legal necessity.

7. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights, including copyrights, trademarks, source code, models, and technical documentation associated with ComplyWall, are the sole and exclusive property of Nordstem Solutions LLC-FZ.

This Agreement does not grant you any ownership interest or license beyond the limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to deploy ComplyWall in accordance with these Terms.

8. Warranties and Disclaimers

ComplyWall is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including:

• Accuracy of age estimation in all environments

• Fitness for a particular legal or jurisdictional purpose

• Uninterrupted availability or compatibility with all devices or browsers

The Service is designed to assist with compliance but does not itself constitute legal advice or regulatory certification.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nordstem Solutions LLC-FZ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or related to use of the Service, including but not limited to:

• Platform misconfiguration or misuse

• End user denial of access

• Legal or regulatory penalties incurred by the Operator

• Business interruption, reputational harm, or data loss

Our maximum aggregate liability under these Terms shall not exceed the amount paid by the Client for the Service in the preceding 12-month period (if applicable).

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to ComplyWall at any time, with or without notice, if:

• You breach these Terms

• We are required to do so by law or regulation

• Continued access poses risk to the Service integrity or end-user privacy

Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Service and remove all instances from your environment.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates.

Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, unless otherwise required under mandatory consumer protection laws.
