When a user engages with ComplyWall, their device's webcam briefly activates to perform facial age estimation using a local (on-device) machine learning model. The process includes:
Detecting a human face
Estimating an approximate age range
Discarding all data immediately after decision is rendered
This process is ephemeral and does not result in any data being stored, saved, logged, or shared.
Children’s privacy
ComplyWall is designed to restrict access to underage users and supports website compliance with COPPA, GDPR-K, and related child protection laws.
We do not knowingly process data of children under any jurisdiction, nor do we create any profiles or persistent identifiers.
